Enjoying a lovely view of the Tokyo Skytree whilst having high tea

Travel Idea by Dove Tsubaki, 19th August 2014

Completed in 2012, the Tokyo Skytree is Japan's tallest structure at 634 meters. The towering landmark is a tourist attraction in itself, but it is also a beauty to be seen from a distance. A brilliant place to relax and observe the architectural feat is the Ren Skytree View Restaurant & Bar at the Tobu Hotel Levant. The restaurant is located on the 24th story and offers excellent views, which can be enjoyed with a meal.

Those on a budget can go to the restaurant after lunch hours and before dinner hours for tea. A snack and a drink should set you back by about 1500 yen. Although the restaurant might reserve the window seats for customers having a full course during busy periods, a safe bet would be between 14:30 and 16:30 on weekdays. Call to enquire if you want to be sure: 03-5611-5591. Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo is a 5 minute walk either from JR Kinshicho Station's north exit, or Subway Hanzomon Line Kinshicho Station's exit 3.
