I went to check out the world’s biggest MUJI in Nara!
Not just Japan’s biggest — the world’s largest.
It’s got a massive sales floor of around 2,500 tsubo (about 8,200 m²).
やっほー！
奈良にある世界最大の無印良品に行ってきたよ〜！
日本最大じゃなくて、世界最大！
売り場面積はなんと約2,500坪（約8,200㎡）もあるんだって。
For comparison:
- Ariake (Kanto’s biggest) = 1,400 tsubo
- Grand Front Osaka = 1,600 tsubo
So yeah, Kashihara’s MUJI is HUGE.
It’s located in a new area called “West Village” next to Aeon Mall Kashihara, and it’s split into 9 themed zones like clothes, food, home, wellness, and more.

だから、橿原の無印はほんとにデカい！
場所はイオンモール橿原のすぐ隣にできた新エリア、「ウエスト・ビレッジ」内で、衣・食・住・健康とかの9つのテーマゾーンに分かれてたよ。
There’s a ReMUJI corner where they’re fixing up and reselling used furniture, books, and outlet stuff.
ReMUJIコーナーでは、使わなくなった家具や本、訳あり商品を修理して再販売してた。
They even have MUJI’s first-ever book café, “Kashihara Bookstore,” with around 100,000 books, plus onigiri and coffee.
さらに、無印初のブックカフェ「橿原書店」もあって、本はなんと約10万冊！
おにぎりとコーヒーもあった
In the center is a big Open MUJI space with a skylight, Yoshino cedar play area, and about 10,000 picture books — perfect if you’re visiting with kids.
中央には天窓付きのOpen MUJIスペースがあって、吉野杉の遊具や絵本1万冊のコーナーも！
子連れファミリーにもピッタリかも！
Totally worth the visit.
