Went to have afternoon tea at Shima Kanko Hotel The Classic.
It was at this chill spot called “Lien” inside the hotel.
Hard to get a weekend booking, but my wife made it happen for my b-day!
We had a super chill time with a killer view of Ago Bay.
The sweets were insane — tropical vibes + Japanese flavors, with stuff like Matsusaka beef, abalone, pearl scallops, Ise lobster, and caviar.
Served on this fancy stand made from Mie wood. So classy. So good.

志摩観光ホテル ザ クラシックのアフタヌーンティー行ってきたよ
ホテルの中にある「リアン」っていうカフェ＆ワインバーで、なかなか予約取れないんだけど、奥さんが誕生日に予約してくれた。感謝！
英虞湾を眺めながら、めちゃ優雅な時間を満喫。トロピカル系と和スイーツが両方楽しめるアフタヌーンティーで、松阪牛、鮑、真珠の貝柱、伊勢海老、キャビアとか使ってて豪華すぎた
三重の木で作られたオリジナルのスタンドにスイーツがのってて、それもまたオシャレ
BTW, this hotel’s where the G7 Ise-Shima Summit was held in 2016.
Next time I’m totally hitting up their fancy restaurant “La Mer”.
